How we cultivate a startup spirit

A SHORT INTRODUCTION INTO FIELD ENGINEERING.

To foster a startup spirit we have coined a term. We call it 'Field EngineeringSM.' This unique approach to innovation developed by Prof. Orestis Terzidis (KIT-EnTechnon) and Robert Gerlach facilitates optimal mutual inspiration among co-workers and enables a creative atmosphere to thrive. Field EngineeringSM supports organizations to produce high-quality ideas and raises the chance of a novelty to be successful. Field EngineeringSM requires hiring the right mix of people, establishing a habitat in which employees feel safe enough to voice their wackiest notions, yet spontaneity and improvisation are treasured.

A well-engineered field consists of employees who produce ideas they are passionate about, experts who improve, discard or select them, co-workers who inspire each other, and finally clients or users who validate the novelty by buying it.

In this 2 days module, you will learn how to decode the intrinsic motivation of creative people, how to manage out-of-the-box thinkers, and how to empower them to deliver peak performances. You will learn how to prepare the organization to accept ideas and to deal with cynics and naysayers. You will refine and expand your action plan.
