Questions about the IQudo creativity training

1. IQudo is the only player in the market who is offering a consecutive creativity program. Why?

Impossible is nothing. Yes,  true! But for most of us it's impossible to learn the piano on one day. Creativity is a pretty complex topic. Sustainable results are achieved only through continuous effort. That's why we approach creative thinking out of three different perspectives: cognitive, emotional and intuitive.

  • Cognitive perspective: Which skills improve creative thinking?
  • Emotional perspective: How crucial is playfulness in the idea finding process?
  • Intuitive perspective: Why do ideas pop-up when least expected?

2. Would it be sufficient to just take part at the yellow belt training?

Yes and no. If you are first of all interested in getting ready-to-produce ideas you are all set with the yellow belt training. On top, every participant does have a better understanding and is feeling self-confident about his own personal creative skills. However it's like eating chips, one is never enough,...

3. For what kind of industries would you recommend the IQudo creativity training?

Every kind of industry is suitable for the IQudo creativity training. It doesn't matter if you are producing semiconductor technology or washing powder. Our methods focus on people.

4. Why do you combine fitness with creativity?

Creativity happens all over the body! The IQudo survey idea generation, 2010 has found out that almost 25% of all ideas are generated during movement activities. We explain why creativity and movement is depending upon each other.

5. Why is IQudo not applying creativity techniques?

Our experience shows that international top creatives do not work with creativity techniques. Why? Because everyone is creative in his own way! Product designer Philippe Stark for instance is having his creative highs while spending a weekend in his bed. Walt Disney was using three different chairs. And you? What do you need to be creative? That is what we focus on in our creativity training. Besides, why would you copy someone else to be creative yourself? Why apply a standardized method to an individual? To us that doesn't make sense.

6. What technique does IQudo apply?

During the yellow and the orange belt we apply the IQudo Coopetition method [cooperation and competition]. We work with two fundamental characteristics of human beings: sozializing and being competitive. Together you develop a unifying vision. In small teams you create ideas. Supporting techniques from acting will help you to understand the creative process.
